Fraser Dawbarns LLP, Wisbech premises: Fire alarm and emergency light installation

Fraser Dawbarns LLP is one of the leading law firms serving West and North Norfolk, South Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and the Fens from offices in King’s Lynn, Wisbech, Downham Market and March. The Wisbech office required the installation of a new fire alarm system, emergency lights and a distribution board upgrade to boost safety and security. As a listed building, there were a number of challenges to the work, including the requirement for an initial asbestos survey. The survey identified asbestos was present, and needed removal before any further works could take place. Jensen Security and Fire Systems carried out all of the installation work, out of office hours to ensure minimal disruption to the service delivery of Fraser Dawbarns.

We spoke to Kelly Anne McGuiness from Fraser Dawbarns to find out how things went:

Are you happy with the fire alarm system, emergency lights and distribution board upgrade which Jensen Security and Fire Systems installed?

Yes, we are completely satisfied with the standard of work Jensen provided. The new systems work effectively and we have had no problems since the installation process. We feel secure in the knowledge that we have reliable systems installed on the premises to promote the safety and wellbeing of staff and the public accessing our services.

What gave you the confidence to work with Jensen Security and Fire Systems?

We worked with Jensen prior to the installation of the new fire system, emergency lights and distribution board upgrade. We were already used to receiving a first class service from Jensen, therefore when we decided to proceed with the installation of the new system, Jensen was our first point of call.

How easy was it to understand the initial quotation Jensen Security and Fire Systems provided?

The initial quotation was very straightforward to follow. From the discussions held at the original site survey, through to the written quotation being provided, all of our questions and queries were responded to in a timely manner, in an easily understandable way. This further inspired confidence in using Jensen Security for the work. All of the employees at Jensen are extremely approachable and responsive- from the office staff to the sales team and engineers.

How did you find the installation process?

Due to the services provided by Fraser Dawbarns in terms of serving the public, the installation of the fire alarm, emergency lights and distribution board needed to be completed out of hours. This meant the engineers had to work through the night whilst the office was closed to complete the work. There was no disruption to our service at Fraser Dawbarns- the engineers were extremely professional and left no mess. There was no disruption whatsoever. The overall installation process was very smooth, and there were no issues.

Did Jensen Security and Fire Systems provide effective training on how to use the new equipment?

Yes, training was provided to the relevant staff at Fraser Dawbarns. The training was delivered in an easily understandable way and was pitched perfectly. This gave us the confidence to use the new equipment and understand how it worked.

Were you happy with the aftercare Jensen Security and Fire Systems provided?

We are extremely happy with all of the services provided by Jensen, and we are secure in the knowledge that if we do have any queries, the response from Jensen will be swift and professional.
